The book's focus, from which the title is derived, is taken from Revelation 11:18, and opens with "The Wrath of God," continues with "The Judgment of Mankind" and closes with "The Reward of the Saints." A Jewish, Biblical Scholar, Nativ brings a unique, often startling perspective to the Book of Revelation. Basing his theories in Hebraic concepts, not doctrine or dogma, Nativ takes the reader on an exciting, step-by step journey through the Hebrew texts, the original language of the Bible, and through painstaking analysis, breathes new life into the words of the Old Testament prophets, the apostles, and Jesus. Take for example, the word "Armageddon." No longer do I want you to be afraid of Revelation as I was but rather embrace the inevitable future that God has planned for us. This book is a passport to the future of humanity and will explain the end-times in simple ways, for the most part, based on Biblical interpretation and not on widely accepted views or mine. Most of the prevalent views on Revelation that you have learnt or learning are incorrect. Not knowing the future with respect to God's plan could jeopardize the timing of your salvation which could put one in the receiving end of God's plagues. Revelation was written for us today in the end-times and not for the Jews and ancient Romans 2000 years ago. This book will prove this to be true beyond a shadow of a doubt. Revelation cannot be interpreted without key scriptures in books in the Old Testament thus proving that there is divine intervention in the Bible as a whole. It is impossible for different human authors to write so many different books with hundreds to thousands of years in between and have the same conclusions and interpretations. IMPOSSIBLE. We are presently near the end of the Great Tribulation with the Day of our Lord fast approaching. Already five of the seven seals have been opened with the sixth approaching rapidly. The beast of Revelation chapter 13 is alive and well and the mark of the beast is already in use. A limited nuclear war is on the horizon and world domination by the Son of Satan by means of a 200 million-man army would follow. There is good news though. Read this book.

The interpretation of any written discourse is problematic, which is the concern of this book. The relevant hermeneutical questions are: Do authors communicate their intention so that understanding of their intent is possible? Can a person other than an author speak through an author's text? Can individual meaning, which is personal, ever be regarded as equivalent to that of the author? Any assertion of God speaking in and through the biblical text must first deal with these hermeneutical questions. Questions of the existence and speaking of God are matters of belief. However, questions asking can a God who exists speak so that I understand His intention, and can my meaning be relative to His, these are matters of hermeneutics. The answer in contemporary philosophical approaches to texts has been to declare a resounding no, creating confusion for someone seeking to deal with God's intention for their lives in understanding biblical text. This must be addressed and not treated dismissively. When this is done a resounding yes is disclosed as valid hermeneutically, opening new horizons not only in dealing with biblical text but with any author's text. This is not Christianized hermeneutics but an answer for the Christian hermeneut.

In Recovering the Ecumenical Bonhoeffer, Javier Garcia explores the possibilities for Dietrich Bonhoeffer’s theology to revitalize interest in the ecumenical movement and Christian unity today. Although many commentators have lamented the waning interest in the ecumenical movement since the 1960s, the celebration of the 500th anniversary of the Protestant Reformation in 2017, coupled with recent in-roads such as the ecumenical efforts of Pope Francis, have opened new possibilities for the ecumenical project. Constitutional orders constitute political communities – and international orders deriving from them – by managing conflicts that threaten peace. This book explores how a European political community can be advanced through EU constitutional law. The constitutional role of the Union is to ensure peace by addressing two types of conflict. The first are static conflicts of interests between the national polities in the EU. These are avoided by ensuring reciprocal non-interference between Member States in the Union through deregulation in Union law. The second are dynamic conflicts of ideas about positive liberty held by the peoples of Europe. These can be resolved through regulation in a European political space. Here, EU law enables a continuous process of re-negotiating a shared European idea of positive liberty that can be accepted as its own by each national polity in the EU. These solutions to the two types of conflicts correspond to the liberal and republican models for Europe. The claim of this book is that the constitutional design of Europe presents both liberal and republican features. Taking an innovative approach, which draws on arguments from substantive law, constitutional theory, case law analysis, insights from psychology and philosophy, it identifies how best to strengthen the Union through constitutional law.
