It is false assumptions and misinformation that lead to false conclusions. This book will point out many of the false religious assumptions people frequently make which keep them from finding the path to true eternal life with God. Several mysteries of God are unfolded in this book which will bring people to a greater knowledge of God and his works among mankind.

One of the key teachings in all of the Bible is that of Matthew Chapter 7 verse 14. The Son of God, Jesus Christ, spoke about a/the way to eternal life (heaven) as being one of great difficulty. In other words, Jesus was saying that if someone wants eternal life it wont be easy and there must be a searching and an uncovering in finding the way. In this book God uses the life and words of an ordinary man whos changed life as a compass in/to helping you/people find that/the narrow path to eternal life.

Why are there so many competing Christian churches in the world today? It is because men interpret the same passage of scripture and its terms in different ways. If there ever is to be a unity in Christianity it will require a unity of understanding the scriptures. It is our personal challenge in life to discover the truth of things. For all of us, the truth in religion isn't necessarily what we expect, or want to find. But for those of us who will accept truth when we find it in the scriptures, it will be found in the definitions of the terms of salvation that are used consistently by the prophets. We find on examination that the 'terms of salvation' in the Bible are fairly consistent in meaning throughout the book, even though the Bible was written by many different Prophets. The Mormon religion claims to possess other books of scripture. This book also compares what is written in their books against what is written in the Bible, with very interesting results. The reader from any religion will find this book a key to understanding the spirit of the Bible and the details of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

The book is a topical commentary and Bible reference based on the Scriptures from the Old and New Testaments. After the introduction, the first section explains the Messiah's purpose and focuses on the foundations for salvation through the Messiah. The second section focuses on emotional topics and how they affect your relationship with the Messiah. The root of many emotional issues is caused by bitterness, so the causes of bitterness and forgiveness are explained in simple terms easily understood by the reader and how they affect salvation. Revelation is covered extensively, but not by analyzing the symbolism. The final section is designed to challenge your thinking and bring you closer to God.

Hope and Enlightenment is a blog hosted through Wordpress, a website and blogging platform. It became an idea for Oswald to create a book based on the posts he shared through his blog Hope and Enlightenment via conversation with family and friends. In this book, you will read of truth based on the main truth of God's written word, the Bible. As the title expresses, it is Oswald's hope that you will also find hope and enlightenment as you read the posts chosen to be shared in this book. Topics range from everyday situations. Plus, these posts encourage based on what Oswald himself has been through. We know that one-person experiences situations that other people have been through as well. Thus, it is our hope that you will reap encouragement and understanding of the situation you are going through or have been through already.
