This is an open access book. Department of Management Faculty of Economics Universitas Negeri Malang seeks high quality research paper for the 3rd Business Innovation Sustainability and Technology International Conference (BISTIC) 2023 that was held on July 25th, 2023. We invite all professors, researchers, students, practitioners, and other enthusiasts to participate in The Business Innovation Sustainability and Technology International Conference (BISTIC) 2023 to present, share, and discuss the phenomenon depicted by academic research result as a strategic way to enlarge and enhance the research development together. This year, BISTIC is held as a virtual conference where there will be online presentation.

Organizational science profits from taking new perspectives using a simple model to understand why behaviors of particular types occur within them. This volume provides readers with a rich source of casestudies and empirical studies of the role played by the interaction between individual actors, organizational contexts, and the actual behaviors being performed the actors. These chapters each seek to describe how these three interact in to create organizational practices with negative effects on either internal members of the organization or external stakeholders (e.g,. clients). The chapters provide insight into how organizations may control these negative behaviors with basic Human Resource Management practices. It is this volume’s hope that these chapters may provide insight into the important role these three factors plays in understanding negative organizational behavior within organizations across the world.

The current volume, the fourth in the series, provides a broad look at the meaning and understanding of diversity and inclusion in organizations. The contributors to this book look toward the future of D&I in organizations and the scholarship of these phenomena. This future focus references not only the content of the chapters-- which we hoped would offer new ideas, emphases, theories, and predictions-- but also to the contributors, emerging scholars who are the future of the field. Indeed, the chapters in this volume offer new perspectives on diversity in organizations, problematize existing perceptions and practices, and offer potential directions for change. Together, the questions and ideas offered these chapters generate a path forward for a thoughtful and nuanced view of D&I in future organizational science. In spite and because of their critiques of the status quo, the scholars and scholarship highlighted here provide hope for positive change.

Motivated employees play a crucial role in creating a companys sustainable competitive advantage. Successful Management by Motivation shows that in a knowledge-based society, this goal cannot be achieved by extrinsic motivation alone. Social Motivation, Justice, and the Moral Emotions proposes an attribution theory of interpersonal or social motivation that distinguishes between the role of thinking and feeling in determining action. The place of this theory within the larger fields of motivation and attributional analyses is explored. It features new thoughts concerning social motivation on such topics as help giving, aggression, achievement evaluation, compliance to commit a transgression, as well as new contributions to the understanding of social justice. Included also is material on moral emotions, with discussions of admiration, contempt, envy, gratitude, and other affects not considered in Professor Weiner's prior work. The text also contains previously unexamined topics regarding social inferences of arrogance and modesty. Divided into five chapters, this book: *considers the logical development and structure of a proposed theory of social motivation and justice; *reviews meta-analytic tests of the theory within the contexts of help giving and aggression and examines issues related to cultural and individual differences; *focuses on moral emotions including an analysis of admiration, envy, gratitude, jealousy, scorn, and others; *discusses conditions where reward decreases motivation while punishment augments strivings; and *provides applications that are beneficial in the classroom, in therapy, and in training programs. The book addresses authoritarian legacies of politically motivated justice and its unwritten practices that have re-emerged in the recent trials related to both political and ordinary criminal charges against prominent opposition leaders in many former Soviet republics. Taking into account that in any country all trials are more or less related to politics, the author differentiates between trials on political issues (political trials that are not necessarily arbitrary) and politicized partisan trials (arbitrary trials against political opponents). The monograph, thus, adopts a broad definition of a political trial, which includes all trials that are related to politicians and political matters such as elections, regime change, activities of parties and other political organizations. The focus lies on a separate group of partisan trials that are politicized (i.e. politically motivated) and which are used by governments to restrain political opposition and dissent. Primarily aimed at legal practitioners such as human rights lawyers, prosecutors, and judges, as well as postgraduates, researchers, teaching assistants and university law professors, readers can gain from the book information that is useful in assessing the interdisciplinary phenomenon of politically motivated criminal justice in transitional and authoritarian post-Soviet republics. Additionally, the volume is indispensable to readers that are interested in Eastern European Studies, Transitional Justice, Law and Society, Slavic Studies, and Theory and History of State and Law.
