The International Socioeconomics Laboratory is proud to present its fourth issue of the Across the Spectrum of Socioeconomics journal. In 2017, we realized that the socioeconomic issues and conflicts present on the international scale needed to be addressed. Involvement in and a deep understanding of the socioeconomic field is vital, and thus the institution that has grown to become the global research network known as the International Socioeconomics Laboratory was founded. Our success is contingent upon cultivating the unique triumphs of individuals, communities, and countries as we work with a diverse set of legislators and scholars ranging from local leaders in Myanmar to United States Senators. Since 2017, our research has had immense translational effects, which include numerous bills in policy introduced by our institute, as well as our data backed developmental projects for underserved communities that are valued over $150 million USD. We understand that legislative action and expansional ventures around the world with a goal as audacious as supporting human-rights, healthcare growth, and education revitalization is an immense undertaking. However, our institution believes that by focusing on socioeconomics, we can best address the most pressing issues around the world. The relevance of our work has been reinforced in the twenty-first century, as we face social and public health challenges that cannot be ignored. Reliable data is more important than ever before in guiding decision-making on all fronts of social and economic issues. The research in this issue has been produced by fellows of the laboratory with the guidance of their Principal Investigators. We thank all of the principal investigators from universities all across the country. Eastern philosophy (EP) has often been neglected in mainstream academic discourse. Philosophy is the way of looking at, understanding, interpreting, and fundamentally bringing together love and wisdom (lovism). This study contributes to a wider understanding of international relations and philosophies in a world where the balance of power is shifting and emerging as superpower countries India and China are increasingly growing in importance. The objectives of this state-of-the-art book are four-fold: (1) to understand the fundamentals of the ancient EP; (2) to interpret basic concepts, thoughts, and teachings of classical international relation-related theories or peace spiritual insights of various wisdom within Chinese, Indian, Islamic, and Christian Missionaries; (3) to assist the Master's level students to participate actively in discussions and interpretations and to create insights and critical thinking methods accordingly; and (4) to share the outcomes of philosophy with like-minded actors/institutions globally.

This book makes a unique and timely contribution to world/global historical studies and related fields. It places essential world historical frameworks by top scholars in the field today in clear, direct relation to and conversation with one other, offering them opportunity to enrich, elucidate and, at times, challenge one another. There is no more popular Greek myth than the one of the hero Hercules, and while you may not know her father or her, by the time she superimposes her father’s saga onto the labors of Hercules, you will! Arapakos’ overarching aim is for you and your parents to benefit from what she has to tell you. Hercules and she had much in common: they both wanted to help make things right despite the odds, and both proved victorious. In Volume 2, the roles reverse, and you find Arapakos taking on the part of Hercules as she performs her adaptation of the twelve “Herculean Labors” to care for her father when Huntington’s disease began making its mark on his life and person.
