BOOK EXCERPT:
You Still Move Me is the story of best friends, Garrett and Rayne, who meet again some twenty years after graduation from high school. Now that they are more mature, they share the hidden desires they had for each other in their youth. They are both thrilled to finally discover the truth. However, Garrett is married. All their lives, they were both practicing Christians clinging to their faith and moral values. Now they must choose which way to turn. Do they remain strong in their faith, or does the temptation of love overpower them? Neither of them had ever expected to be faced with a decision to jump on the roller-coaster ride that is an affair, with all its ups and downs, with its tug of war between true love and guilt and shame. They know the decision they make could change their lives forever. But desires of the heart have a way of clouding a sound mind and strong convictions.

BOOK EXCERPT:
With a new Introduction by Professor Cedric Watts, M.A., Ph.D. The Forsyte Saga is Galsworthy's enduringly popular masterpiece. Initially, the plot centres on Soames Forsyte, a successful solicitor living in London with his beautiful wife, Irene. A pillar of the late-Victorian upper middle class, wealthy and well-connected, he seems to lead an enviable life. But beneath the respectable exterior lie acute tensions and frustrations. The marriage of Soames and Irene culminates in sexual violence and recriminations. The consequent feud within the family will be long-lasting, with ironic and dramatic outcomes. In The Forsyte Saga, John Galsworthy analyses the achievements, confusions and hypocrisies of an era. This renowned chronicle of a divided dynasty, repeatedly filmed and televised, has engrossed audiences internationally.

BOOK EXCERPT:
After The Man of Property, Galsworthy digs into Irene's newfound acquaintance with Old Jolyon Forsyte (June's grandfather, now the owner of the house Soames had built). This relationship makes Old Jolyon happy, but it drains his power. He gives money to Irene in his will, with Young Jolyon, his son, acting as trustee. Old Jolyon eventually dies under an ancient oak tree in the garden of the Robin Hill house. The second novel is on Soames' and his sister Winifred's marital problems (the title refers to the Court of Chancery, which dealt with domestic disputes). They file for divorce from their respective husbands, Irene and Montague Dartie. While Soames advises his sister to face the repercussions of going to court, he is unwilling to go through the process of divorce. Instead, he hunts and hounds Irene, follows her abroad, and begs her to bear his child, as his father had requested. After Old Jolyon's death, Irene receives a £15,000 inheritance. Irene's funds are managed by his son, Young Jolyon Forsyte, who is also Soames' cousin. Young Jolyon offers his assistance when she first leaves Soames. Irene has built a great bond with Jolyon by the time his son Jolly dies in the South African War.
