In a post Technology War world, Analie has lost herself in the bitterness that encompasses her past. The elements of power that surround her have labeled her a Daughter of Men, a term passed from generation to generation of women in her family that grants her the ability to end time or allow it to continue. Analie cannot begin to fathom the responsibility of this title because she cannot unravel the searing question of why she is still here. She now only sees the world in black and white. She has run away from everyone and everything she has ever loved. With the help of a new found acquaintance, a dragon named Alien, she discovers that the only way to find answers is to stop dwelling on the past and start living her destiny. In making this realization, she champions the first of many battles coined for the Daughters of Men.

Christianity faces a dilemma with regard to the status of women. Despite advances, female subordination remains a predominant social and religious paradigm in a number of modern cultures. Among Christians, the primary justification for patriarchy has been the story of Adam and Eve, along with seven key New Testament texts rooted in the notion that female subordination is the will of God. This book provides a critical analysis of womanhood in the major cultures that formed the backdrop for the emergence of Christianity: Mesopotamia, Egypt, Judaism, Greece, Rome and the Mystery Cults. The author connects the subordination of women to slavery and other forms of social and political dominance that were taken for granted in the ancient world, and demonstrates their influence on various New Testament texts concerning the status of women in the home and church.

Captain Joshua Foley might be a disgrace to the royal army and a drunkard to boot, but he knew Diamanda the Berserker, a complicated woman nearly reduced to myth and rumor by even the most seasoned taletellers of Delthain. She was a warrior, a bloodthirsty killer, a monster in the eyes of men—and perhaps the only thing standing between humankind and the true monsters at our door. He was her friend, her lover, her last companion—and when she could no longer speak for herself, he became her voice in our world. Through a startling interview with an eager young student, Captain Foley relates the full story of his encounters with the Daughter of Man, even as the cosmic secret concealed within his narrative threatens to destroy him…

"The Daughter of Man, finalist for the 2023 Miller Williams Poetry Prize, follows its unorthodox heroine as she transforms from maiden to warrior-then to queen, maven, and crone-against the backdrop of suburban America. This collection confronts misogyny and violence, even as it bursts with nostalgia, lust, and poignant humor"--

The book's focus, from which the title is derived, is taken from Revelation 11:18, and opens with "The Wrath of God," continues with "The Judgment of Mankind" and closes with "The Reward of the Saints." A Jewish, Biblical Scholar, Nativ brings a unique, often startling perspective to the Book of Revelation. Basing his theories in Hebraic concepts, not doctrine or dogma, Nativ takes the reader on an exciting, step-by step journey through the Hebrew texts, the original language of the Bible, and through painstaking analysis, breathes new life into the words of the Old Testament prophets, the apostles, and Jesus. Take for example, the word "Armageddon." Long interpreted as the ultimate battle between good and evil, Nativ uses his extensive Hebrew knowledge to show it is a place, not a battle, and introduces the ancient Hebrew concept of a "place of refuge" as proof. Should Nativ be correct, not only will he change the theology, but dictionary definitions as well. Equally startling is his discussion of Revelation, Chapter Nine, regarding the opening of the bottomless pit and the release of the awesome creatures within. Nativ not only explains what they are, their origins and their purpose, but, most surprising, the creatures' present location, as they await the ending of the Age. Perhaps most controversial of all is Nativ's answer to the long-asked question regarding the identity of the "Beast" and the meaning of the number "666." Not only will the reader be dumbfounded by the simplicity of Nativ's answer, but horrified by the proximity. Nativ is not dogmatic. He does not expect everyone to agree with his study's conclusions, but instead challenges the reader to prove him biblically incorrect. Neither prophet nor the recipient of a great revelation from God, Nativ's only claim is the wisdom from God to unveil the meaning of the Book of Revelation in all its complexities.
