Tomoko’s movie still hasn’t gotten off the ground, and she’s in desperate need of inspiration. Stalling for reference material, she goes with Yuu and Komi to visit the culture festival at Yuu’s school. Seeing some of the other students’ work gives her a bunch of ideas, but as she begins to deviate from her original plan, her friends start to lose confidence in their director...With no clear vision and a skeptical team around her, just what kind of film is Tomoko going to make?!

As the third term of her second year in high school rolls around, Tomoko's looking like she just might be about to graduate from loserdom! With all the time she's been spending with the girls from the field trip, are her days as a loner numbered?!

As the dreaded class trip comes to an end, it leaves an unexpected boon in its wake-Tomoko has gotten juuust a bit more capable of conversing with her classmates! But never fear! The trials of an antisocial butterfly are unending, and Tomoko now has a new hurdle to tackle: the sports festival! Forced to take part in events that require actually talking to people, her newfound social skills are put to the test...but youthful enthusiasm and passion are the farthest things from Tomoko's mind...

The start of the culture festival draws near, and filming for the movie is about to end. Nemo is having second thoughts about her unsavory role in the production, but it seems to be a huge hit with the others—for better or worse! Conversely, when it comes time to film the baseball scene, no one is sure what to make of Kuroko’s unique vision, and even she isn’t convinced it’ll get the laughs she’s aiming for...

The last culture festival of Tomoko’s high school life finally begins! She’s been busy editing her movie up until the day before, but it’s finished at last!! Though Tomoko is nervous, she gets up on stage and greets the audience...and then, her movie is put up on the big screen! With her direction and script, Tomoko Kuroki’s film is finally revealed!!
