During the entire period of 1994 until his death in 1997, Brother Lee ministered in Anaheim, California. The contents of this volume are divided into thirteen sections, as follows: 1. This message is included in this volume under the title Fellowship with Serving Saints in the Living Stream Ministry Office. 3. Five messages given on November 25 through 27, 1994. These messages were previously published in a book entitled The Practical Way to Live a Life according to the High Peak of the Divine Revelation in the Holy Scriptures and are included in this volume under the same title. One of the messages was divided into two chapters. 4. A message given on December 31, 1994. This message was previously published, being included at the end of the softbound Life-study of 1 and 2 Chronicles, Ezra, Nehemiah, and Esther, and is included in this volume under the title The Eschatology of the Church according to the Divine Revelation of the Scriptures. 5. Four talks given on January 3, 1995. These talks are included in this volume under the title Talks with a Seeking One. 6. Two messages given on January 16 and November 13, 1995. These messages are included in this volume under the title Fellowship with Co-workers and Elders. 7. Three messages given on January 22, April 23, and September 13, 1995. These messages are included in this volume under the title Church Meetings in Anaheim. 8. Six messages given on February 3 through 5, 1995. These messages were previously published in a book entitled The Issue of the Union of the Consummated Spirit of the Triune God and the Regenerated Spirit of the Believers and are included in this volume under the same title. 9. The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1994-1997, volume 1, contains messages given by Brother Witness Lee from January 9, 1994, through April 19, 1995. In 1994 and 1995 Brother Lee spoke fifty-four messages that were published in the Life-study of 1 and 2 Kings, Life-study of 1 and 2 Chronicles, Life-study of Ezra, Life-study of Nehemiah, Life-study of Esther, Life-study of Proverbs, Life-study of Ecclesiastes, and Life-study of Song of Songs. These messages are not included in The Collected Works of Witness Lee. During the entire period of 1994 until his death in 1997, Brother Lee ministered in Anaheim, California. The contents of this volume are divided into eleven sections, as follows: 1. Four messages given on January 9 through September 11, 1994. These messages are included in this volume under the title God Becoming Man to Make Man the Same as He Is for His Highest Testimony. Two of the messages were combined. 2. Four outlines and two messages given on February 19 and 20, 1994. These messages were previously published in a book entitled The Dispensing, Transformation, and Building of the Processed Divine Trinity in the Believers and are included in this volume under the same title. 3. A personal note written on May 9, 1994. This note is included in this volume under the title A Personal Note by Witness Lee concerning the Burden of His Ministry. 4. Two messages given in Anaheim, California, on May 16 and June 25, 1994. These messages are included in this volume under the title Fellowship with Full-time Trainees. The first message was spoken in Chinese. 5. Four messages given on May 17 through 20, 1994. Four messages given on August 19 through September 16, 1996. These messages were previously published in a book entitled A Word of Love to the Co-workers, Elders, Lovers, and Seekers of the Lord and are included in this volume under the same title. 2. Eighteen messages given on August 21, 1996, through March 17, 1997. The first seventeen messages were previously published in a sixteen-chapter book entitled The Vital Groups and are included in this volume under the same title. Two of the messages were combined into one chapter. The final chapter of this section was added after the book was published. 3. Eleven messages given on August 21 through November 6, 1996. These messages are included in this volume under the title Fellowship before the Meetings of the Full-time Training in the Fall of 1996. Three of the messages were combined with other messages to form a section of eight chapters. 4. Six messages given on October 1 through 3, 1996. A brief word of fellowship given on April 6, 1997. This brief word is included in this volume under the title The Highest Point: Doing the Work of the New Jerusalem. 15. The final prayers and speakings by Brother Lee from April 15 until a few days before his death on June 9, 1997. These are included in this volume under the title Final Prayers and Speakings by Brother Witness Lee.

In this issue we will continue four lines of ministry. The first line--The History of the Lord's Recovery--contains chapters 8 through 11 of The Vital Groups, which are in volume 5 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1994-1997. These chapters speak of love prevailing, of Christ's cherishing us as the Son of Man in His humanity, and of Christ's nourishing us as the Son of God in His divinity. The second line--Words for New Believers--continues with chapters 19 and 20 of Basic Lessons on Life, which are in volume 1 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1979. This line then continues with chapters 1 and 2 of a new book, Basic Principles of the Experience of Life, which are in volume 3 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1963. The first two chapters in this section speak of having a proper spirit and of discerning the spirit from the soul. The next two chapters speak of the scriptural meaning of life and of the experiences of life. The third line--Maturing in Life--continues with chapters 17 through 20 of Knowing Life and the Church, which are in volume 1 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1953. These chapters speak of preparing ourselves to meet the Lord's need, of being joined to the Lord in the matter of service, of the principle of God's breaking, and of God's breaking, not man's magnanimity, being the way of life. The fourth line--The High Peak of the Divine Revelation--continues with chapters 4 and 5 of The Application of the Interpretation of the New Jerusalem to the Seeking Believers, which are in volume 3 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1994-1997. This line then continues with chapters 1 and 2 of a new book, The Practical Way to Live a Life according to the High Peak of the Divine Revelation in the Holy Scriptures, which are in volume 2 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1994-1997. The first two chapters in this section focus on the spiritual significance of the furnishings and the supply of the New Jerusalem. The next two chapters speak of having a clear view concerning the accomplishments of the processed and consummated Triune God and of being conformed to the death of Christ by the power of His resurrection.

This two-volume publication, Lessons on the Eldership, is composed of outlines and excerpts compiled from the ministry of Witness Lee and Watchman Nee. They are intended to be used by mature workers for the training of the elders and responsible brothers among the churches in the hope that these brothers will be perfected to labor fruitfully in the carrying out of God’s economy for the fulfillment of His purpose through the churches.

In this issue we will continue four lines of ministry. The first line—The History of the Lord’s Recovery—contains chapters 3 through 5 of Guidelines for the Propagation of the Lord’s Recovery, which are in volume 5 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1984. These three chapters, which complete the chapters from this book, speak of loving to live the normal church life, being fervent for the gospel by preaching in the homes and by spreading through migration, and bearing the responsibility to shepherd and teach in the homes and small groups. The section then continues with chapter 1 of a new book, Fellowship concerning the Urgent Need of the Vital Groups, which is in volume 3 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1991–1992. This chapter contains fellowship concerning the practice of the group meetings in the God-ordained way. The second line—Words for New Believers—continues with chapters 11 through 14 of Basic Principles of the Experience of Life, which are in volume 3 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1963. The chapters in this section speak of dealing with the self, the conscience, and the world. The third line—Maturing in Life—contains the final four chapters of The Subjective Experience of the Indwelling Christ, which are in volume 1 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1983. These chapters speak of living out Christ in our human virtues, the subjective salvation of the Triune God, and how to enjoy the subjective salvation of the Triune God. The fourth line—The High Peak of the Divine Revelation—contains the final two chapters of The Issue of Christ Being Glorified by the Father with the Divine Glory, which are in volume 5 of The Collected Works of Witness [8] Lee, 1994–1997. These chapters speak of the three aspects of the incorporation of the consummated God with the regenerated believers and of the functions of the Father’s house, the true vine, and the new child. The final two chapters in this section then begin a new book, The History of God in His Union with Man, which is in volume 4 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1991–1992. These chapters focus on God’s history in eternity past and God’s history in time.

In this issue we will continue the four lines of ministry that began in the first issue of Ministry Digest (vol. 1, no. 1). The first line--The History of the Lord's Recovery--continues with chapters 21 through 24 of The History and Revelation of the Lord's Recovery, which are in volume 2 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1981. These chapters speak of the recovery of the practicality of the church life, the troubles without and the troubles within during the spread of the testimony in the United States, and the advancement of the Lord's recovery in the Unites States. The second line--Words for New Believers--continues with chapters 16 through 19 of Lessons for New Believers, which are in volume 3 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1959. These chapters speak of the ground of the church, the division of the church, our practice related to the expression of the church on the ground of locality and our attitude toward organized Christianity, and serving the Lord. The third line--Maturing in Life--continues with the final chapter of The Way for a Christian to Mature in Life, which is in volume 3 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1955, and then begins chapters 1 through 3 of a new book, The Purpose of God's Salvation, which are in volume 3 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1961. The final chapter of The Way for a Christian to Mature in Life speaks of experiencing the transforming work of gold, silver, and precious stones as spoken of in 1 Corinthians 3. The third line then continues with a new book that begins by focusing on Christ being the central purpose of God, the church being the Body of Christ and the fullness of Christ, and Christ making His home and the church being filled. The fourth line--The High Peak of the Divine Revelation--continues with the final two chapters of The Divine and Mystical Realm, which are in volume 4 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1994–1997, and then begins chapters 1 and 2 of a new book, The Experience of God's Organic Salvation Equaling Reigning in Christ's Life, which are in volume 5 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1994–1997. The speaking in these chapters concerns regeneration and renewing and sanctification and transformation.

In this issue we will continue four lines of ministry. The first two chapters in this section speak of the first experience of life and the way to experience life. The final two chapters then focus on the three lives and four laws within every Christian generally and on the law of life particularly. The third line--Maturing in Life--continues with chapters 21 through 23 of Knowing Life and the Church, which are in volume 1 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1953. This line then continues with chapter 1 of a new book, The Subjective Experience of the Indwelling Christ, which is in volume 1 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1983. The first three chapters in this section speak of the result of the work being based on the worker, of needing to be earnest and not loose in working for the Lord, and of the church and service. The last chapter in this section begins by speaking of the experience of Christ as life. The fourth line--The High Peak of the Divine Revelation--continues with chapters 3 through 6 of The Practical Way to Live a Life according to the High Peak of the Divine Revelation in the Holy Scriptures, which are in volume 2 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1994–1997. The chapters in this section speak of seeing the unveiled truth of Christ's resurrection for the ultimate goal of God's economy, of living Christ for His magnification by the bountiful supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ, of being conformed to the image of God's Son so that He might be the Firstborn among many brothers, and of building up the Body of Christ by growing into Him, the Head, in all things.
