John Henry (ca.1674-1717), son of Robert and Jane Henry, immigrated from Ireland to Philadelphia in 1709, and moved to Somerset County, Mary- land in 1710, where he married widow Mary (King) Jenckins. Descen- dants and relatives lived in Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Virginia and elsewhere.

Thomas Hollyday (ca. 1660-ca. 1703) immigrated during or before 1678 from England or Barbados to Somerset County, Maryland. He married Mary Truman in 1686, and moved to Calvert County, Maryland. Descendants listed lived chiefly in Maryland. Includes Bordley and related families.

This genealogy of the Jones family covers eleven generations, from 1660 to 1947. The earliest known progenitor of this line is Francis Jones, who was born about 1660. It is thought that he immigrated from Ireland, then to Wales and arrived in Pennsylvania in 1708. He married Rachel Newton Jones who was born in 1662. In 1714, he moved his family to Duck Creek, Delaware. He then moved to Haddonfield, New Jersey in 1718, and to Lancaster, County, Pennsylvania in 1726. Descendants and relatives lived in Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Ohio, and elsewhere.

Jacob Naff Sr. (ca.1727-1806) immigrated from the borderlands between Switzerland and Germany to Philadelphia in 1749, and married Eva Catherina Flora about 1755, settling in Franklin County, Pennsyl- vania. They later moved to Frederick County, Maryland and then to Franklin County, Virginia. Descendants lived in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, Tennessee, Indiana, Texas and elsewhere. Includes some ancestors in Switzerland.

Daniel Hurley (ca. 1658-1706) immigrated to America in 1676 and served as at bond servant for four years in Virginia. He died in Prince Georges County, Maryland. His son, Daniel Hurley (1701-1793) was the father of five known sons, a. 1727-ca. 1739. Descendants listed lived in Maryland, Delaware, North Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and elsewhere.
