This original analysis examines the three leading traditional solutions to the dilemma of divine foreknowledge and human free will--those arising from Boethius, from Ockham, and from Molina. Though all three solutions are rejected in their best-known forms, three new solutions are proposed, and Zagzebski concludes that divine foreknowledge is compatible with human freedom. The discussion includes the relation between the foreknowledge dilemma and problems about the nature of time and the causal relation; the logic of counterfactual conditionals; and the differences between divine and human knowing states. An appendix introduces a new foreknowledge dilemma that purports to show that omniscient foreknowledge conflicts with deep intuitions about temporal asymmetry, quite apart from considerations of free will. Zagzebski shows that only a narrow range of solutions can handle this new dilemma. Then Came The Rain Poetry by a victim of child molestation. My name is Patti Davy and I chose to share my feelings and emotions that have occurred because of the molestation in my past. This book is filled with the raw emotions that occur from such trauma that can be hard for some to read but that is not my intent. I did the writing to reach out to people who are in the same situation as me to let them know that they are not alone and that there is hope. There are many of us out in today's world that are hurting and suffering from this horrendous act and are forced to deal with it alone or to keep quiet. The truth of the matter is that this crime affects many aspects of our society through drug use, alcohol, divorce, spousal abuse, child abuse, and the list just goes on. So by sharing my experiences through my poetry I hope I can reach out to someone and let them know that they are not alone. May you calm the storm within your heart that you so desire and become a survivor of your past.

December 26, 1999. The Reverend Ananias Divine couldn’t believe his eyes. This book provides summary apologetics from about 200 references. It is unique in that many authors with differing viewpoints are put together in brief key point summaries. Some of the books covered are 1100 pages long. The original authors views are briefly integrated and compared. The different views of creation are also discussed and compared and given a open minded weighing. Are you concerned about the fact that 70% of our youth no longer attend church and do not have a biblical world view? The naturalistic or humanistic world view they adopt from schooling favors the following: 1. Man evolved from primates and is a biological machine with no purpose. 2. There is no source of true morals and thus morals are relative and determined by whatever a given group decides or whatever is most popular. 3. Since man is only and animal, there is no basis for individual human rights, only rights for the masses. There are some good arguments provided in the book to counter all of this and provide a biblical world view. These arguments are brief and easy to share in witnessing situations.

The book is a passionate journey through varied emotions experienced in human life and I'm just keeping it real.

This book is about two devastating events that happened in my life in 2005. The first one was the loss of my youngest son. He left this life in a trucking accident. Most of his twenty-four years, he wanted to be a tractor trailer driver. Driving the big rig was all he wanted to do since he could walk and talk. The second one is about the home we lost two months after the passing of Anthony. Hurricane Katrina came through the Gulf Coast and destroyed our home and everything we owned. We experienced life on the street for the next week. It is an ordeal that I never want to experience again. When I left New Orleans the only thing I had left was my purse and the clothes on my back. We lost everything. I have recovered from most of the material things I lost. I was able to purchase them again. I have accepted the fact that God doesn't make mistakes and he knows what's best, but I have not totally recovered from the loss of my son. There are days that I'm totally fine. Then there are days that I feel the pain of the loss. My good days do outweigh my sad days, so I don't complain. It is God who has blessed me and brought me through and I'm grateful.
